My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.

Doesn't  this quote from Alice in Wonderland precisely describe our life here?

Ain't we always in a rush trying to keep up with the pace of the city, with the success of our friends, with the latest fashion, with our own ambitions, with expectations others have from us, and it goes on and on. We want to use this short period of time called span of life to its fullest capacity. 

But do we enjoy it, our life, do we see all the beauty around us, do we get a moment in this enormous city of endless possibilities to just stand still? Observe. Feel the moment. Hold hands. Count the stars.

I savor those moments as life's best.
